Downdinner Hill is a bungalow on the edge of Whitby. It's on a hill, so the views are good. You can see the town from the garden.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything's on one level and the entrance is step-free, so it's accessible if you need that.
The garden is mostly lawn. There's a private patio with a table. It gets the sun in the evening.
Inside, it's open plan. The kitchen has what you need. The shower is a walk-in. The bed is a double.
It's about a ten minute walk down into the centre of Whitby. The harbour and the shops are there. The 199 steps up to the Abbey are there too. The beaches are a bit further on from the harbour.
If you drive, Robin Hood's Bay is about fifteen minutes away. Staithes is about twenty minutes. The North York Moors are right there. You can get the steam train from Whitby station into the park. The North York Moors National Park website has walking routes.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
