Wheel House is a converted barn on Fern Farm near Normanby. It's set back from the road, in the middle of fields. You look out over Whitby to the sea.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One king, one twin. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well put together. Everything is on one level inside, which is handy.
The living area is all open plan. The kitchen's new and has what you need. There's a table to eat at and a sofa to sit on. The view from the windows is the main thing. You get the sunset over Whitby Abbey.
You're about ten minutes by car from Whitby. It's a proper working town with the abbey, the harbour, and all the shops. The coast path runs right through it if you want a long walk.
Robin Hood's Bay is closer, maybe five minutes. It's all steep, narrow streets down to the sea. Good for an ice cream and a poke around the rock pools.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. For a drive out, the road to Goathland and Pickering over the moors is good. The steam train runs that route in the summer.
In terms of stuff here: there's parking right outside. An enclosed garden bit. Wifi and TV. A washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
