Snugg
This is Snugg. It's a ground floor apartment in Whitby, on the Whitehall Landing development.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating because it was all done up in 2021. It's modern inside, everything's clean and works. The doorways are wide and there are no steps to get in, so it's accessible if you need that. You get one parking space with it, which is a real help in Whitby.
Inside it's open plan. Living area, dining bit, and the kitchen all in one room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. The bedroom is through a door off the main room. Everything you need for a week is included, like bedding and towels.
The living room looks out towards the harbour. You can see the train line from the window. The steam train comes past sometimes, which is nice. There are some shared grounds outside you can sit in.
You're about a ten minute walk from the middle of Whitby. It's all there: the Abbey, the beach, the harbour, the fish and chips. There's a pub about five minutes walk away and a restaurant even closer. A shop is about ten minutes.
If you want to drive out, Robin Hood's Bay is about fifteen minutes away. Staithes is about twenty five. The North York Moors are right on the doorstep. For walkers, the Cleveland Way runs along the coast here. Useful links for planning: North York Moors National Park and National Trust Yorkshire.
