Snugg
Snugg is in Whitby. It's a one bed ground floor apartment in a modern block called Whitehall Landing. Sleeps two. Everything's on one level, which is handy.
It's got a 5 Star rating. It's a smart modern place. We had it all done up a couple of years ago. There's a living room with a kitchen area, a bedroom, and a shower room. It's open plan. You've got a dishwasher and a washing machine.
You get one parking space right there, which is a big plus in Whitby. There might be visitor spaces too if you need another.
The block has some shared gardens. You get a decent view across the harbour. You can see the train line from there, and sometimes the steam train goes past.
It's a short walk into the middle of things. The harbour's right there. There's a pub about five minutes away, and restaurants are even closer. A shop is about a ten minute walk.
Whitby's a proper fishing town. It's got the Abbey up on the cliff, a beach, the whole lot. It gets busy. The Goth weekends are a thing if that's your interest. For walking, you're right on the coast. You can walk to places like Robin Hood's Bay from here if you're up for it.
The North York Moors start just behind the town. It's about a twenty minute drive to get up onto the moors properly. Places like Goathland or Grosmont are easy to get to.
Along the coast, Staithes and Runswick Bay are nice. Scarborough and Saltburn are a bit further, maybe a forty minute drive.
The apartment is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. The shower room has a step into it though, so it's not fully adapted inside.
Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed. It's got WiFi and a TV.
