Moonshine Loft
Moonshine Loft is a top floor flat on Whitby's West Cliff. It's for two people, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional. It's not a luxury place.
You're up three flights of stairs to get to it. It's a Victorian building, so the stairs are the normal kind for that: a bit steep and a bit narrow. If you've got a lot of luggage, you'll know about it.
The location is the main thing. You're about a hundred yards from a pub and the same to a shop. The harbour and the old town are five minutes on foot down the hill. The beach is about the same walk the other way.
Whitby's busy. There are events most of the year, like the Goth weekends or the Regatta. The abbey is up the 199 steps from the old town. You can get the steam train from town into the moors, which is a good day out.
For walking, the Cleveland Way goes right through. The North York Moors are on the doorstep. York is about an hour's drive if you fancy a change.
It's got a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
