Lambert Hill Cottage is in Ruswarp village, about two miles from Whitby. It's an old school building that was turned into a bungalow. The main thing is you've got the whole place to yourselves, and a good enclosed garden.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is an en-suite to a twin room. It's got a 4 Star rating. Because it's an old building, there are a few steps inside, like stone steps up to the kitchen.
The garden is private and looks out onto trees. There's a patio area. You can hear the little steam train go by from the village sometimes, which is nice.
Ruswarp itself is quiet. There's a village shop, a butchers, and a pub, all a short walk away. The pub does food. You can walk along the river path into Whitby, which takes about 40 minutes, or you can get the bus or train.
Whitby has everything: the Abbey, the pier, fish and chips, the lot. The beach at Sandsend is about a ten minute drive. Robin Hood's Bay is about fifteen minutes. If you want to go inland, the North York Moors are right there for walking. North York Moors National Park has good maps and information.
In terms of what's here: parking, wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a woodburner. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
