Broom Cottage is in Whitby, on a little footpath just off the main part of town. It's a one-up-one-down, so it's just for two people. The rating is 3 Star, which is right. It's clean, it works, but it's small and simple.
The front garden is yours to use. It's lawned and gets the sun.
Inside, it's all on one level at the back. There's a living area with a sofa and table, then a step up to the kitchen. The shower room is off the kitchen. It's a compact shower, not a bath. The stairs to the bedroom are spiral and they're steep. You need to be careful on them. The bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and a double bed.
Whitby's right there. You can walk to the harbour, the shops, and the beach in a few minutes. The North York Moors National Park starts just outside town. The Cleveland Way footpath is close by if you want a long walk.
Robin Hood's Bay is about five miles down the coast. It's a good spot for a trip. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam trains run from Pickering, which is about a half hour drive inland.
For facilities, you've got a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car. No pets.
