Alice's Place

Alice's Place is a two bedroom apartment near the whale bone arch in Whitby. It's on the ground floor. You get a private parking space right outside. That makes things easier.

It sleeps four. Two decent sized bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One's an en-suite shower room, the other is a family bathroom next to the second bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.

The living area is open plan. There's a coal-effect fire for a bit of warmth. The stairs are internal but there aren't any, it's all on one level.

The beach is a few minutes' walk. It's a long stretch of sand. There's a bit where dogs can go. The town centre is close too, full of the usual shops and places to eat. Fish and chips is the main event. Some pubs let dogs in.

If you drive, Robin Hood's Bay is about fifteen minutes south. Staithes is a bit further north. The North York Moors National Park starts inland, maybe a twenty minute drive. You can get a steam train from Whitby station up to Goathland, which was in Heartbeat.

Scarborough is about half an hour down the coast if you want a bigger town with more things like the Sea Life centre.

For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and an enclosed patio area. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
