Alice's Place
This is Alice's Place in Whitby. It's a ground floor apartment on a residential street quite close to the town centre. You get one private parking space right outside your door, which is a big help in Whitby.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is en-suite to the main bedroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
You're about five minutes on foot from the seafront and the whalebone arch. The beach is sand, and there's a bit set aside for dogs. The town itself is a short walk away. Whitby's got the usual chip shops and pubs, many of which allow dogs. There's a shop and a pub very close by.
If you're driving, Robin Hood's Bay is about ten minutes away. Staithes and Runswick Bay are maybe twenty minutes along the coast. The North York Moors National Park starts just inland, so that's easy to get to for walking. You can catch a steam train from Whitby station into the moors on the North York Moors Railway.
Scarborough is half an hour down the coast if you fancy a change.
Inside, there's an open plan living area with a TV. The facilities are all there: dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's an enclosed patio area out the back.
