The Silver 6pence is in Whitby, just off the west side of the seafront. It's about a three minute walk to the sand. You've got your own parking space, which saves a lot of hassle in Whitby.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. One double, one twin that can be a super king, and a single. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The house is bright. You've got the living room at the front, then a kitchen and dining room at the back. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. There are doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, with a table and chairs. There's also a shed for bikes or a surfboard if you're bringing one.
You're in a quiet spot, but you can walk to everything. The pub, the fish and chips, the pier, it's all a short stroll away. The 199 steps up to the Abbey are a proper climb, but the view from the top is the reason you do it.
If you want to drive, Robin Hood's Bay is about ten minutes south. Runswick Bay is about twenty minutes north. The North York Moors are right there if you head inland. You can get on the Cleveland Way from a few points nearby.
Further out, Scarborough is about 45 minutes down the coast. York is about an hour's drive.
Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, a cot and a highchair. On-site parking. You can bring two dogs.
