Friendship Cottage is in Whitby, on Church Street. It's a mid-terraced cottage, one of a row. It's a former fisherman's place, so it's small but full of character. The town centre is about twenty yards from the front door.
It's for two people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are mentioned in the description for a reason. They're steep, cottage stairs. You need to be careful on them.
You've got everything on your doorstep. Pubs, shops, the harbour. The beach is a five minute walk. For a proper walk, you can get straight onto the Cleveland Way from the cliff top.
The North York Moors are right there. You can drive into them in about ten minutes. The coastal villages like Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes are a short drive away too, maybe fifteen or twenty minutes. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam train goes from Grosmont, which is about twenty minutes drive inland.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need for a week. There's WiFi, TV, a shower. Bedding and towels are included. The utilities are all covered. No pets.
