Friendship Cottage
This is Friendship Cottage in Whitby. It's a mid-terraced place on a street just off the main town centre. It's an old fisherman's cottage, so the rooms are cosy and it's got low ceilings. Sleeps two, in two separate bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's a Four Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You're really in the middle of things. It's about twenty yards to the main streets with all the shops and pubs. The harbour and the beach are a five-minute walk. The 199 steps up to the Abbey are just at the end of the street.
The cottage has Wi-Fi, a TV, and all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. No pets allowed, sorry.
For getting out and about, you can walk the Cleveland Way along the cliffs. The North York Moors are right there if you want to drive or take the North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam train. The coast road north takes you to places like Sandsend and Staithes.
