Chapel Cottage
This is Chapel Cottage in Fylingthorpe. It's an old stone cottage, once part of the village Methodist chapel. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, and has one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The cottage is in the middle of the village. There's a pub just around the corner that does food and has a beer garden. There's also a village shop a few yards away for basics.
Inside, the living room has a gas stove in the fireplace. The kitchen is separate, with a range oven. There's a dining table in the living room by the window. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep and turn a corner. The main bedroom has a TV and a blocked-off fireplace. The second bedroom has a single bed. There's also a sofa bed in the living room if you need it.
Out the back is an enclosed garden with a lawn. We take pets, two are allowed.
You can walk down into Robin Hood's Bay from here. It takes about fifteen or twenty minutes. The beach there is sandy at low tide with rock pools. Whitby is about a fifteen-minute drive north. Scarborough is about half an hour south.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The Cleveland Way national trail goes along the coast here.
Facilities include WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
