Hilltop Hideaway

Hilltop Hideaway is an apartment in Whitby. It's on the lower ground floor of the building. You go down six steps from street level to get in.

It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms. One has a super kingsize bed. The other has a double bed with a single bunk on top. There's one bathroom. You can bring up to two dogs.

It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen and dining room are one big space, with some old brick archwork. The living room has a big stone fireplace and leather sofas.

You can see Whitby Abbey from the kitchen window. It's up on the cliff. To get to it, you walk into the old town and then go up the 199 steps. It's a proper climb.

The bus and train stations are close by if you need them. The harbour and the old town cobbled streets are a short walk. The beach is about half a mile away. You can walk along the sand to Sandsend if you want a longer stroll.

In the summer, there's a tour bus that goes around. You can get pleasure boat trips from the harbour. Whitby has events sometimes, like the Goth weekends or the regatta.

Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, cot and highchair if you need them, bedding and towels are included. There's a pub and a shop about half a mile away.
