Rose And Crown Yard
Rose and Crown Yard is a cottage in Whitby town centre. It's in a narrow yard, so it feels tucked away and quiet even though you're right there in the middle of everything.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The furniture is mostly bespoke, made from wood in a sort of nautical style. The top bedroom has wooden beams.
You can see the abbey from the windows, which is nice. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect.
There's no parking with the cottage, but there are plenty of pay and display car parks nearby. The local shop, a pub, and restaurants are about 25 yards away. The beach and the harbour are a five minute walk.
For walks, you can pick up the Cleveland Way along the cliffs here. The cinder track to Robin Hood's Bay starts just outside town. Inland, you've got the North York Moors National Park about a 20 minute drive. Places like Grosmont and Goathland are worth a trip.
Scarborough is about 40 minutes south by car. York is just over an hour away.
It has a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
