Belle Vue Cabin
Belle Vue Cabin is a terraced house on a street about five minutes' walk from the harbour in Whitby. It's for two people.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. The main room is open plan: kitchen, living area, table. The bedroom has wood panelling on the walls and ceiling, so it feels a bit like a ship's cabin. That's the theme.
There's a separate utility room downstairs, reached by some steps outside. That's where the washing machine is. You can store bikes in there.
The location is the main thing. You can walk into the centre in a few minutes. There's a shop and a pub about fifty yards away. The beach is a couple of hundred yards.
Whitby is what it is. Good fish and chips, the abbey up the steps, the harbour. The Cleveland Way coastal path starts here. You can walk along the cliffs to Sandsend, or drive to places like Staithes. The North York Moors National Park starts just inland.
If you drive, you can get to Scarborough in about forty minutes. York is about an hour and a half. The National Trust has a few properties around there.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
