Belle Vue Cabin
Belle Vue Cabin is on Victoria Terrace in Whitby. It's a terraced cottage for two people. You're about five minutes' walk from the harbour and the centre. The view from the front is good, you can see the sea between the houses opposite.
It's got a 4 Star rating, it's comfortable and well-equipped. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bedroom walls and ceiling are wooden, like a ship's cabin. It suits the place.
There's an open plan living area downstairs. Through the kitchen, there's a door to a separate utility room. You go down a couple of steps to get to it. That's where the washing machine is, and there's space for bikes.
The shop and a pub are practically next door. The pub does food. The beach is a few minutes' walk down the hill.
Whitby's got everything you need. Good fish and chips, plenty of pubs. The abbey is up the 199 steps. The Cleveland Way coastal path starts here. For a shorter walk, you can go along the front to Sandsend.
If you want to explore, the North York Moors National Park is right there. You can get the steam train from Whitby to Goathland. Scarborough is about 40 minutes by car. York is just over an hour.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can store bikes. No pets.
