Esk View (Washarbour View)
This place is called Esk View, but some listings have it down as Washarbour View. It's in Whitby, on the east side of town. It's a semi-detached house.
It sleeps four people in three bedrooms, and there is one bathroom with a shower. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional. There's a washing machine, parking on site, and bedding is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
The main thing about it is the view from the front living room window. It looks right out over the harbour and the estuary. You can see boats coming and going. It's a good spot to sit.
It's about a ten minute walk down into the town centre and to the main beach. The stairs are fine, just normal.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors here. The Cleveland Way path goes along the cliffs. You can drive to Robin Hood's Bay in about ten minutes, or Staithes in about twenty. Sandsend is just along the coast. Scarborough is about half an hour south.
There's a local pub a short walk away. Whitby itself has all the shops and places you'd need. The famous 199 steps up to the Abbey are down in the old town.
