Whitby Bliss
Whitby Bliss is a one bedroom apartment in Whitby. It sleeps two. It's up by Skinner Street, so about a ten minute walk down into the main town.
The place is on one floor inside, up some stone steps from the pavement. You've got a bay window at the front in the living area. The bedroom is at the back and leads out to a small enclosed yard with a table and chairs. The kitchen is a galley style off the bedroom, it’s compact but has what you need, including a washing machine. The shower room has underfloor heating.
There's a fish and chip shop and a local pub just up the road. The pub has a lot of TVs for sport.
From here you can walk down to the harbour, the beach, or up the 199 steps to the Abbey. The beach is sandy and you can walk along to Sandsend if you want a longer stretch. For walking, the Cleveland Way is right there on the coast, or you can drive into the North York Moors. The steam train from Whitby station goes into the national park.
Nearby, Robin Hood's Bay is about a fifteen minute drive. Staithes is about half an hour.
The apartment has WiFi, a travel cot and highchair if you need them, and bedding and towels are included. There's space to store bicycles. No pets.
