Whitby Bliss
Whitby Bliss is a one-bedroom flat for two people on the West Cliff. It's up a flight of stone steps from the pavement.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's been recently done up to a good standard. It's all on one level inside.
The main room is at the front with a big bay window. There's a sofa, a TV, and a table for eating. The bedroom is through an open archway. It's a decent size with a double bed, wardrobe, and drawers. Glass doors from there lead out to a small, enclosed yard with a table and chairs.
The kitchen is a galley style off the bedroom. It's compact but has what you need, including a two-ring induction hob. The washing machine is in a separate utility cupboard. The shower room is modern and has underfloor heating.
There's a bench on the little front patio if you want to sit outside.
You're about a ten-minute walk from the harbour and the town centre. There's a fish and chip shop and a local pub just down the road. The pub has TVs for sports.
From the flat you can walk down to the beach, up the 199 steps to the Abbey, or just explore the town. The North York Moors National Park starts not far away. You can get the heritage railway from Whitby station into the middle of it.
Places like Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes are a short drive up the coast. Scarborough and Filey are a bit further. York is about an hour and a half's drive if you fancy a day trip.
Facilities included are WiFi, bedding and towels, a washing machine, and an enclosed yard. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets.
