Pannett Place is in Whitby. It's a first-floor apartment in a new development.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and modern. The main thing is the parking. You get a designated undercroft space, which in Whitby, especially in summer, is a real help.
The living area is open-plan and bright. It's well-equipped. Both bedrooms are a good size, one double and one twin. The bedding is good quality.
Location wise, it's quiet but very central. You can walk to everything. Whitby has the harbour, the 199 steps up to the Abbey, and all the little streets with shops and pubs. The beach is a proper sandy beach that goes on for miles towards Sandsend.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors. The North York Moors National Park website has walking routes. The Cleveland Way path is on the doorstep if you want a coastal walk. There are boat trips from the harbour, sometimes you see seals.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes, and the steam railway at Goathland. Scarborough is about 40 minutes south if you want a bigger seaside day out.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking, all the basics. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
