Royal Crescent

This is Royal Crescent. It's on West Cliff in Whitby. It's part of a big curved terrace of houses from the 1850s that looks out over the bay.

It's a first-floor apartment, all on one level. There are two bedrooms so it sleeps four. One bathroom. It was done up a few years ago, so it's in good order. It's got a 4 Star rating.

You get in from the back, where there's a parking bay. It's first come, first served. There are also some steps down from the front on Royal Crescent itself. The main living space is open plan, kitchen and living area together. It gets a lot of light from the big front windows.

You're right on West Cliff. The beach is about 200 yards away. There are shops, pubs, and restaurants the same distance. You can walk to most things.

Whitby Abbey is up on the headland. You can walk up the 199 steps to it. The old town and the harbour are down there too. If you want to get out, Sandsend and Robin Hood's Bay are a short drive along the coast. The North York Moors are right on your doorstep for walking. You can get the steam train from Whitby out to Goathland or Pickering.

It's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The parking is that one bay at the back.
