Woodman House
Woodman House is in Sleights, a village about four miles from Whitby. It's a detached house. Sleeps eight, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can bring two dogs.
The main living area is open plan, with big windows so it's bright. The kitchen's modern and has a dishwasher. There's a separate sitting room with a wood burner for colder evenings. Off the main room there's a games room. Upstairs, three of the bedrooms have beamed ceilings. One bedroom and a bathroom with a spa bath are on the ground floor.
In the village there's a shop, a pub, a chippy, a butcher, and a bakery. The river Esk runs through. You can hire boats or canoes in Ruswarp, the next village along.
Whitby is about ten minutes drive. You've got the harbour, the abbey, and the beach there. The North York Moors National Park starts at the edge of the village. For walking, the Cleveland Way coastal path is close by. Sandsend, Robin Hood's Bay, and Runswick Bay are all within half an hour. Scarborough is about 45 minutes.
The house has a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed.
