Picturesk
Picturesk is a first-floor apartment in Whitby. It's one of a few in a converted building, so there's a shared entrance and stairwell.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. That's handy. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-fitted. You get a good view from the big front window, out over the estuary towards the abbey. You can watch the boats from there.
The location is the main thing. It's about a ten-minute walk along the river into the centre of Whitby, so you can leave the car if you want. There are pubs, shops, and the harbour all within walking distance. The famous 199 steps up to Whitby Abbey are at that end of town.
The apartment has a patio area. There's also a small shared garden for the building with a bit of play equipment for kids.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
If you want to explore, you're right on the edge of the North York Moors. The Cleveland Way long-distance path goes through Whitby. Scarborough is about 40 minutes down the coast. The North York Moors Railway at Pickering is about a 30-minute drive inland.
