A Stone's Throw is an apartment in Whitby. It's on the first floor of a big Victorian house that's been done up. It looks out over Pannett Park, which is nice.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The 4 Star rating means it's comfortable and well equipped. It's an old house so you get the usual quirks.
You're a five minute walk from the harbour. All the shops and pubs are there. The fish and chips are good. The park is right there, which is handy if you've got kids or just want some grass.
The beach is about a ten minute walk. It's sandy that side. For walking, you've got the Cleveland Way coastal path on your doorstep. The North York Moors are a short drive inland.
Within half an hour you can drive to Robin Hood's Bay, which is a good spot. Goathland, where they filmed Heartbeat, is about 20 minutes. For a bigger day out, you can get to the National Trust places like Nunnington Hall.
It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and TVs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
