Endeavour Cottage
Endeavour Cottage is in Whitby, on the West Cliff side. It's on a quiet little street just off one of the main shopping streets. You can walk to everything.
It's a three-storey fisherman's cottage, sleeps six. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two are en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
There's an open plan living area downstairs with a kitchen, dining table and sofa. It opens out onto a private patio area with seating. There's a dedicated parking space just outside, which is a real bonus in Whitby.
You're about a two minute walk from the shops, pubs and cafes. The harbour and the beach are about five minutes on foot. The 199 steps up to the Abbey are close by too. Whitby gets busy, but the cottage itself is on a quiet bit.
Within half an hour's drive you've got the North York Moors. Goathland and the railway are about 20 minutes inland. Robin Hood's Bay is along the coast, maybe 15 minutes by car.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed. No pets, sorry.
