Endeavour Cottage is on the West Cliff side of Whitby. It's on a quiet street just off one of the main shopping streets, so you're right in the middle of things but it's a bit quieter. There's a dedicated parking space on site, which is a big plus round here.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. It's got three bathrooms, which is useful. Two of them are en-suite. It's a three-storey house, so there are stairs. They're fine, just normal house stairs.
The living area is open plan on the ground floor. There's a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table that seats six, and a sitting area with a TV. The electric fire looks like a wood burner. It's a good space for everyone to be together.
Outside, there's a private patio area with a table and bench seating. It's enclosed.
The location is the main thing. You're a couple of minutes' walk from the harbour and the main shops and pubs. For the beach, you walk down to the harbour and cross the bridge. The 199 steps up to the Abbey are there too. It's all very close.
Further out, the North York Moors are about a twenty-minute drive. You can get to Robin Hood's Bay or Sandsend along the coast in about fifteen minutes by car.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
