Annie's Place

Annie's Place is on Church Street in the old part of Whitby. It's above our sweet shop. You get views of the cobbled street at the front and the harbour from the back.

It's a duplex, so the living area is on the first floor and the three bedrooms are up another flight of stairs. The stairs are a typical, steep cottage style. There are two bathrooms, which is handy for six people. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-fitted and comfortable.

You're right in the middle of things. You can see the famous 199 steps to Whitby Abbey from the door. Arguments Yard, which people like to photograph, is next door. The beach is about 200 yards away. It's a proper long beach for walks, and dogs are allowed on parts of it. You can walk all the way to Sandsend. There's a pub 100 yards away, and restaurants even closer.

For days out, Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes are along the coast, both about a 15-20 minute drive. Scarborough is about 30 minutes south. The North York Moors National Park is on the doorstep for walking.

Facilities include a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring one dog.
