This is Bella Vista. It's a one-bedroom apartment in Whitby, right on the main street. It's for two people.
The building is Georgian, so the ceilings are nice and high, and you've got big windows. You get a proper view down the street to the harbour. You can see a bit of the sea from the front windows. It's quiet, but you're cheek-by-jowl with everything.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable but not swanky. The layout is straightforward: an open-plan living and kitchen area, the bedroom, and a shower room. The bedroom has plenty of storage space.
You are about fifty yards from the nearest pub. The beach is two hundred yards down the hill. Shops are right outside. Everything in the town centre is walkable from here.
If you like walking, the Cleveland Way starts at the harbour. You can walk along the cliffs to Sandsend, or south to Robin Hood's Bay. The North York Moors National Park is inland. You can drive there in about twenty minutes, or get the steam train from Grosmont.
For facilities: there's Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, and all the bedding and towels are included. It's all electric. No pets, I'm afraid.
