All Aboard
All Aboard is an apartment on Whitby Marina. It's a modern block, lift served, and it's all on one level inside. You get a designated parking space in the underground car park.
The apartment sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's in good order. The views from the living room are the main thing. You look right out over the marina and down the river towards the harbour mouth. You can see the Abbey on the cliff from the windows.
It's about a ten minute walk along the river path into the centre of Whitby. That's the main thing. You can leave the car. The path is flat.
The facilities are what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. It's wheelchair accessible because of the lift and the level layout. Bedding and towels are included.
Whitby itself has everything you need. Plenty of fish and chip shops, the beach, the pier, independent shops. You can get boat trips from the harbour. The North York Moors Railway steam train comes into Whitby station, which you can see from the apartment. It's a good base for the coast and the moors.
