Abbey Peep is in Whitby, across the road from Pannet Park. It's a first-floor flat in a Georgian house. You get your own front door inside a shared entrance.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One's an ensuite shower. The main bathroom has a jacuzzi bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The living room is a good size. There's a little round window in there with a magnifying glass in it, which gives you a tiny, clear view of the Abbey. That's what the name comes from.
You've got a designated parking space right outside, which is a big help in Whitby. The town centre, the harbour, and the beach are all a short walk downhill.
For a good walk, you can go up the 199 steps to the Abbey. The beach is sandy. The North York Moors are right on the doorstep if you want to go inland.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes, and Sandsend. The North York Moors steam railway goes from Grosmont, which is about a 15 minute drive away.
Facilities wise: there's WiFi, a dishwasher, and the bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
