Esk View Apartment
This is Esk View Apartment in Whitby. It’s a second-floor flat, so there are stairs to get up to it. The views from the living room are of the River Esk, which is nice.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is attached to the main bedroom. There's a king size bed in there, a double in the second room, and bunk beds in the third. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living space is all open-plan. Kitchen's at one end, then a dining table, then the sitting area with a sofa and a TV. There's an electric fire that looks like a log burner. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
You're right in the middle of Whitby. The harbour, the shops, and the fish and chip places are all on your doorstep. Whitby Abbey is up the hill. It's about a 15-minute walk, but it's steep. The English Heritage site has the details.
If you want to walk the coast, the Cleveland Way path is right there. Robin Hood’s Bay is along that way, about a 20-minute drive or a decent walk if you're up for it. The North York Moors National Park website is good for planning.
Parking is on-site, which is useful in Whitby. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
