Grey Gull is in Whitby, about five minutes walk from the harbour. It's a three storey terrace house, so there are a lot of stairs. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
You come in on the ground floor into the living room. It's big, with high ceilings and a large bay window so it gets a lot of light. There's a table to eat at. The kitchen is at the back. The back door opens to a small covered yard, which is good for storing bikes. There's a gate out to the lane.
On the first floor there's a kingsize bedroom and a twin bedroom. There's also a family bathroom and a separate shower room. The third bedroom is on the top floor. It's a double under the eaves, with a high vaulted ceiling and roof windows.
The house has a 4 Star rating. It's modern inside and generally well equipped. Bedding and towels are included. There's wifi, a Smart TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. You can bring up to two dogs.
You're right in Whitby. The harbour, shops, and the old town's cobbled streets are a short walk away. The beach is about half a mile. The famous Whitby Abbey is up the 199 steps on the east cliff. For walking, you've got the Cleveland Way coastal path right there. The North York Moors are about a twenty minute drive inland.
For facilities, the list covers most of it: parking, garden, cot and highchair available, local pub. Golf and fishing are nearby if that's your thing.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust pages for this coast are useful, and the Welcome to Yorkshire site has general information.
