Clarks Yard
Clarks Yard is in Whitby, down a little lane off Church Street. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a four star rating, which means it's comfortable and well presented.
You need to be able to manage some stone steps to get to the front door. They’re a bit uneven but not too many of them. The cottage is up high compared to the street. Opposite, there’s a small garden with a seat where you can sit and look out over the rooftops.
Inside, the living room is small but comfortable. The kitchen is next to it and it's compact, but it has what you need for cooking. Upstairs, there’s a double bedroom and a second bedroom with bunk beds. The shower room is modern and fine.
You’re right in the middle of things. Church Street and the harbour are a minute's walk away. Plenty of pubs, shops, and fish and chip places. The 199 Steps up to Whitby Abbey are very close.
Facilities wise: bedding and towels are included. There's a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. The little garden is yours to use. There's no dedicated parking, but there are car parks nearby. No pets, I'm afraid.
