Sea View 9 is an apartment in Whitby, about five minutes' walk from the town centre. It's on Royal Crescent, which is that long row of big Victorian townhouses on the seafront. Being a modern conversion, it has a lift.
It's for two people only. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's been done up to a good standard and is comfortable. The living area is open plan with a kitchen. There's a breakfast bar with two seats and a recliner sofa facing the TV. The bed is a super kingsize. You can see the sea from the bedroom window.
The apartment looks out directly over the beach. At low tide the sand stretches for miles. The coastal path, which is the Cleveland Way, runs right past the end of the street if you want a proper walk. Whitby Abbey is up on the cliff. The town has all the usual shops, pubs, and fish and chip places.
Within about half an hour you can drive into the North York Moors National Park. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam train runs from Pickering to Whitby, which is a nice trip. Further down the coast, places like Robin Hood's Bay are close.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible because of the lift. The shower is a walk-in rainforest type. They leave a welcome pack for when you arrive.
