Nest Holiday Home
Nest Holiday Home is in Whitby. It's right on Baxtergate, above a shop. The harbour is about a minute's walk.
It's an apartment, so you go up a flight of stairs to the front door. Inside, it's on two floors. It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is an en suite shower room. It has a 4 Star rating. It was renovated in 2024, so everything feels new.
The kitchen is granite. There's a washing machine and dishwasher. The living area has two sofas and a TV. The stairs inside are a typical cottage style, so they're not the broad, gentle sort you get in a new house.
You're right in the middle of things. It can be lively outside, especially in season. That's good if you want to be close to everything. The best fish and chips are a short walk away.
Whitby Abbey is up the 199 steps. The museum is good if you're into local history or Captain Cook. Boat trips leave from the harbour wall. For walking, the Cleveland Way path runs right through town along the coast.
Further out, within about half an hour, you've got Robin Hood's Bay for more coastal walks. The North York Moors are inland for a different scenery. Goathland is about 25 minutes by car, which is the station for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. There's no garden. No pets.
