Victoria Square is a tall, terraced house off Baxtergate in Whitby town centre. That means you're about three minutes' walk from the harbour, which is handy.
It's a big place, sleeps ten, five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and has everything you'd expect. It's a listed building so the walls are thick and the stairs are the usual old-house type, a bit steep and winding.
The kitchen is new and has a decent sized table. The living room has an open fire. The TV is large. Out the back there's a small, walled garden with a hot tub. If you don't want the hot tub at all, you need to tell me at least two weeks before you arrive and I can refund part of the fee.
It's in town so you've got shops, pubs, and fish and chips on your doorstep. The beach and the harbour are just down the hill. For a longer walk, you can go up the 199 steps to the Abbey. The Whitby Abbey site is worth a visit. The North York Moors National Park starts just outside town if you want to drive out for a proper hike.
Facilities: parking for one car on site, which is a bonus in Whitby. WiFi, washing machine, cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
