This is Abbey Field. It's in Whitby, a few minutes inland, so it's quiet but you can walk into town easily. It's one of a pair of semi-detached cottages.
It's a five-star place, so it's well finished. Everything is new. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is useful. The stairs are fine, nothing unusual.
The garden is enclosed and private. It's got a hot tub, which people seem to like. The view from the raised terrace is decent, you can see across to Whitby.
Whitby itself is about a fifteen-minute walk. You've got the usual stuff: the Abbey ruins, the harbour, fish and chips. It gets busy in summer. The North York Moors National Park starts just outside town if you want a proper walk. The Cleveland Way path is right there.
Within half an hour you can drive to Robin Hood's Bay, that's a good one for a walk and a pint. Staithes is similar, a bit further. The steam train from Pickering to Whitby is nice if you like that sort of thing. York is about an hour's drive.
In the cottage you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking on the drive. All the bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
