Fatamorgana
This place is called Fatamorgana. It's a first-floor apartment in Whitby. The location is good: it's on a quiet side street but you're still only a minute or two from the front.
It sleeps five. There are two bedrooms. One has a king-size bed and its own shower room. That room has a window you can climb through onto a small balcony. You get a good view of the Abbey from there. The other room has a double bunk with a single on top. There's a second bathroom with a bath.
You can see the sea from the living room and kitchen. The kitchen has what you'd expect: dishwasher, induction hob. There's an electric stove in the living room that looks like a log burner.
It's rated 4 Star. You can bring one dog. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
Whitby's right there. Cobbled streets, fish and chips, the usual. The Abbey is the main thing to see. You can watch the boats come in. For a longer walk, you're on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The steam railway goes from Grosmont, which is about a 20-minute drive.
If you want to drive out, Scarborough is about half an hour south. Robin Hood's Bay is even closer, maybe 15 minutes.
