Hidden Gem
Hidden Gem is a terraced cottage in Rose and Crown Yard, right in the middle of Whitby. It's an old fisherman's cottage, so it's over three floors. The stairs are steep, like they are in a lot of these places.
It's for two people. One bedroom at the top, a living room on the middle floor, and the kitchen and dining space on the ground floor. There's a shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up, so it's comfortable and clean, with a Smart TV in the living room and another in the kitchen.
You can have up to two pets. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. WiFi is there.
The yard leads straight out onto the streets with the shops and cafes. There's a pub about five yards away. The beach is a few minutes' walk.
Whitby's a proper fishing town with a lot of history. The North York Moors are right on the doorstep if you want to go walking. The Cleveland Way coastal path goes through the town. You can walk to Sandsend beach along the sand when the tide is out.
Within about half an hour you can drive to places like Robin Hood's Bay, or go inland to Pickering for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The abbey is up the steps, of course.
