Millers Rest is in Willingham, Cambridgeshire. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people. It's next to our house and you look directly out at Cattell's Mill, which is our old windmill from 1828. It's a quiet spot.
The cottage itself is comfortable. It's a 4 Star place, which I think means it's been properly updated. The bedroom has its own en-suite shower room. You've got your own patio garden out the front, which gets the sun in the afternoon. There's parking right there.
The village is handy. There's a shop about half a mile away. The local pub and a restaurant are closer, maybe 400 yards. They're both fine.
If you want to go further, Cambridge is about nine miles. You can drive or you can walk about a mile to the Guided Busway, which takes you straight in. It's good for avoiding the traffic. In Cambridge, you can do the usual things: punting on the river, looking at the colleges, museums, shopping. Ely is about fifteen miles. The cathedral is worth seeing.
For a day out, the Imperial War Museum at Duxford is about a twenty-minute drive. It's fascinating if you're interested in that sort of thing.
Around here, it's good for walking and cycling. Fen Drayton Lakes are nearby for birdwatching. The whole area is flat, which makes it easy going.
In terms of what's here, you've got WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
