Sea Glass Cottage
Sea Glass Cottage is in Whitby. It's on Bagdale, which is just behind a bigger house and away from the main road. It's quiet there.
It's a one-bedroom apartment that sleeps two. Got a 4 Star rating. There's one small bathroom with a shower. The bed is a king size. It's all on one level but there are a couple of steps between the living area and the bedroom, and another to the bathroom.
You have your own little courtyard, it's enclosed. Gets the sun in the morning. The kitchen is compact but it has what you need for two people. There's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
Location is the main thing. You can walk to the train station, the bus station, and the harbour in under five minutes. Everything in Whitby is on your doorstep. The North York Moors National Park starts pretty much at the edge of town.
The Abbey is about a fifteen minute walk up the 199 steps. The beaches are a short walk too. Robin Hood's Bay is about a fifteen minute drive, Sandsend is about ten.
