Song Bird Holiday Home
Song Bird is a detached house on the outskirts of Whitby. It's a four star property, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
It sleeps seven, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, with an en-suite off the main bedroom. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to three.
Inside, the living room is spacious and has a smart TV. The kitchen is open plan with the dining area. There's a range cooker and the usual appliances. The doors open out to the garden. There's also a small snug which can work as an office if you need one. And there's a utility room with a washing machine.
The garden has a patio area and a hot tub. The hot tub is checked and cleaned before every booking.
Location wise, you're just outside the town centre. The Cinder Track footpath is right on your doorstep. You can walk into Whitby along that, or the other way towards Robin Hood's Bay. It takes about 30 minutes to walk into Whitby.
Whitby itself has the harbour, the abbey, and all the usual shops and places to eat. The beach at Sandsend is about a ten minute drive. Robin Hood's Bay is about twenty minutes by car.
For a day out, the North York Moors are right there. You can drive to Goathland or Grosmont in under half an hour. North York Moors National Park has good information on walking routes. The National Trust Yorkshire Coast page covers the local coastline.
Parking is on the drive for two cars. Bedding and towels are included. There's a stairgate fitted.
