Dandelion Cottage is in Grosmont, North Yorkshire. It's on the edge of the village, surrounded by fields. The view from the back is over the moors.
The cottage sleeps four. There are three bedrooms upstairs. One double, one with a three-quarter bed, and one single. There's one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You park on the drive. There's a path through the garden to the front door. The garden's mostly wildflowers, so it's not a lawn for kids to run on.
Inside, there's an open-plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a modern electric oven and hob. It also has an old Rayburn range oven, which is great for keeping the place warm in colder months. The lounge is separate, with a wood burner. The best room is the summer room at the back. It's got big glass doors that open right up so you can sit and look straight out at the moors. There's a patio out there with a table and chairs.
Grosmont is a small village. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam trains come through here. You can get on one to go to Whitby or Pickering. Whitby is about seven miles away. It's got the abbey, the beach, and the harbour. Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes are a short drive along the coast.
The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
