Arncliffe View is in Glaisdale, in the North York Moors. It's our cottage. It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The cottage is old, so the ceilings are low in places. Watch your head. The stairs are steep at the top. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, and the furniture is mostly old stuff that fits the place.
There are two wood burners. One in the living room and one by the dining table. The kitchen's got a big Belfast sink and new worktops. The bathroom upstairs has a free-standing bath. Up in the eaves, there's a twin bedroom and a little room next to it with some games for kids.
Outside, there's a garden with a patio. It's enclosed. You can park about four cars off the road. There's an electric car charger.
Glaisdale has a pub. Good walking from the door straight onto the moors. The North York Moors National Park website has maps and ideas.
You can drive to the coast in about half an hour. Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes. The heritage railway goes through Grosmont, which is close by. North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot, highchair, and a stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to three dogs.
It's a good spot if you want to be in the countryside but near the coast too.
