Castle Park
Castle Park is a house on a quiet road in Paignton. It's about a ten minute walk from the seafront and the main beach. It's a standard semi-detached, but it's been done up inside to a good standard.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are fine, nothing unusual.
The garden is private and gets the sun. It's worth mentioning it's on two levels, with about a metre's height difference between them. There's a paved area with seating and a bit of grass.
Inside, there's a separate dining room which is good for bigger groups. The kitchen has everything you need, and there's a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. All the bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the driveway.
Paignton Beach is the main one, with the pier and all that. Goodrington Sands is a bit quieter and is probably better for families as the water is calmer. The South West Coast Path runs through here.
For local things, Paignton Zoo is very close. The Dartmouth Steam Railway starts from Paignton station. The waterpark, Splashdown Quaywest, is at Goodrington.
Brixham is a proper fishing harbour and is about ten minutes in the car. Torquay is the other way, similar distance. Dartmouth is about twenty minutes. Further afield, you can get to Dartmoor or the start of the South Hams in roughly half an hour.
