Woodbury Farm, Tawny Cottage
Tawny Cottage is on our farm, Woodbury Farm, just outside Dartmouth. It's one of a few cottages here but it's detached and you've got your own patio and a bit of garden.
Sleeps six, three bedrooms. Two have king-size beds, one is twins. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite shower room off the main bedroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The layout is a bit different. The bedrooms are all on the ground floor. You go upstairs to the living area. It's a big open plan room with the kitchen, dining and sitting area. The ceiling is high and vaulted so it feels very spacious and gets a lot of light. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
You're out in the fields here so it's quiet. But Dartmouth is only about ten minutes away by car. There's a supermarket about five minutes in that direction.
There are some good local beaches. Blackpool Sands is about fifteen minutes away. Slapton Sands is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes. For a family day out, Woodlands Adventure Park is about eight minutes up the road.
If you want to explore, you can get the ferry from Dartmouth over to Kingswear. From there you can drive down to Brixham. Totnes is about twenty-five minutes inland. Dartmoor is roughly forty minutes away.
In terms of what's here: parking right outside, enclosed garden, patio furniture, barbecue, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, Smart TV. We can provide a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
