Tuckenhay, Clock Tower Cottage is in Tuckenhay, which is about a five-minute drive from Totnes. It's part of an old mill conversion on the River Dart. You have your own cottage, but you share the grounds and leisure facilities with the other properties here.
It sleeps four people. There are two bedrooms, and both have their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main living area is upstairs, which means the views over the creek are better. The stairs are a typical cottage spiral, so they're not wide.
The cottage is good for a couple or a small family. There's a patio with a table and chairs. Bedding is included. You can bring one dog. Inside, you've got a wood burner, a washing machine, and a dishwasher.
The main reason to book here is for the shared facilities. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a games room, and a sauna. There's also a kids' play area. It means you can have a day where you don't go anywhere.
There's a pub you can walk to along the creek. It does food. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Totnes.
If you want to go out, Dartmouth is about a 15-minute drive. The coast is about 20 minutes away. Blackpool Sands is a good beach, or for surfing, you'd go to Bantham. Dartmoor is about a 30-minute drive for walking.
