Tuckenhay, Clock Tower Cottage
This is Clock Tower Cottage in Tuckenhay. It's a two-bedroom cottage that sleeps four. There's a local pub you can walk to, and it's about a twenty-minute drive to the coast at Blackpool Sands. Dartmouth is about five miles away.
The cottage is part of the old mill here. It's got two bathrooms, which is handy, and both bedrooms have their own. The main living area is upstairs. That means you get a good view out over the stream from the balconies. The stairs are a typical cottage spiral, so just take care on them.
Because it's part of the mill, you get to use the shared facilities. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a games room, and a sauna. It's all on site. There's also a kids' play area. The garden is your own, and there's parking.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. We include all the bedding. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, a wood burner, and a TV.
For days out, Dartmoor is within half an hour for walking. Totnes, which is a market town, is about three miles. The National Trust's Greenway (Agatha Christie's house) is a short drive away, and the South West Coast Path is easily accessible.
