Grandview Dartmouth
Grandview Dartmouth is on a steep road just up from the town centre. The view is the main thing. You look straight out over the river to Kingswear and the sea. It's a good spot.
It's a modern place inside, everything's been redone. Sleeps four, two bedrooms, both have their own bathrooms which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well equipped and finished.
The layout is a bit different. You come in to the kitchen and a small dining area on the ground floor. The main living room is on the first floor, with doors out to a balcony. That's where you'll sit. The twin bedroom is also on that floor, with its own door to a little courtyard. The master bedroom is up another floor. It has a juliet balcony and a sofa in it as well.
Parking for two cars right outside the door is a big plus in Dartmouth. Saves a lot of hassle.
You can walk down into town in a few minutes. The harbour, the castle, the boat trips, it's all there. The South West Coast Path goes right through. For a longer walk, you can get the ferry over to Kingswear and start from there.
