Porto Seguro
Porto Seguro is an apartment in Brixham. It's on the second floor of a little development just up from the harbour, maybe a ten minute walk. You can see a bit of the sea between the other buildings.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The whole place got done up not too long ago, so it feels clean and modern. Everything works, the wi-fi is fine. There's parking for two cars, which is useful here.
The living area is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, sofa. It's all in one room. The main bedroom has a double bed, the second room has two singles.
Brixham is a proper fishing port. There's a fish market on the harbour. Good fish and chips. You can mess about on the harbour wall trying to catch crabs, or get a boat trip out from there. Berry Head is a short walk away, it's a nature reserve with good cliff paths and an old fort. The National Trust looks after it.
If you drive, you're on the edge of the South Devon area. Dartmouth is about twenty minutes by car. The beaches at Goodrington and Paignton are a ten minute drive. Totnes or Dartmoor are within half an hour if you fancy a change from the coast.
Everything's included: bedding, towels. There's no garden, it's an apartment. No pets. It's got a 4 Star rating.
