Riviera View
Riviera View is a one bedroom apartment in Torquay. It's on the first and second floor of a small building. The rating is 4 Star, which I think reflects the view more than anything else. The place is clean and comfortable.
The main thing is the view. You look right out over the bay towards the harbour. There's a telescope in the living room if you want a closer look. The living area and bedroom both face the sea.
It's in a quiet bit, but you're only five minutes from the harbour on foot. Town is about ten minutes. You can leave the car.
The garden is at the back. It's tiered, with steps and a sloped path leading up to different patio bits. It's fine, but the path is steep so watch your step.
Inside, it's open plan. Kitchen, living and dining area all together. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's one bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. Bedding and towels are included.
You've got parking on site. WiFi works. No pets, sorry.
Torquay town centre is close for shops and restaurants. For days out, Kent's Cavern and the Model Village in Babbacombe are nearby. You can get a ferry from the harbour to Paignton or Brixham. The South West Coast Path starts just down the hill.
