Ashbury Tor
Ashbury Tor is in Maidencombe, that's a village just north of Torquay. It's one of a few apartments in a terraced row on the coastal road. The owner lives on site but you've got your own space. It's a ground floor flat.
It sleeps four, but it's really best for two adults or a couple with two kids. There's one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxury.
You're right on the South West Coast Path. Maidencombe Beach is about a ten minute walk down the hill. It's a small, sheltered beach with a cafe. There's a thatched pub in the village too, about the same walk.
Torquay town centre is about four miles away. That's where most of the shops and restaurants are, and the main beaches like Torre Abbey Sands. The Riviera International Centre is there if you want to see a show. Babbacombe Model Village and Bygones are a short drive. For a bigger day out, Paignton Zoo is good or you can get a ferry from Torquay harbour to Brixham.
Dartmoor is about a 40 minute drive inland if you want a change from the coast. The nearest proper golf course is at Torquay, about two miles.
In terms of what's there: you've got parking, a patio area, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if needed. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
