It's Ashbury Tor, in Maidencombe. That's just north of Torquay proper. The place is on the coastal road, about a ten minute walk down the hill to Maidencombe Beach. There's a thatched pub there too.
It's a ground floor apartment, sleeps four. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place. That means it's clean, comfortable, and does the job without being fancy. It's open plan, so the living, dining, and kitchen area is all one space.
The patio area is yours to use. There's on-site parking. It's a terraced block of a few holiday apartments, but you have your own front door.
As for the location, the beach is the main thing. It's sheltered, has a cafe, and the views from the rocks are good. The South West Coast Path runs right through here. The walk from Watcombe to Maidencombe is a local favourite, takes you through woods and along the cliffs.
Torquay centre is about four miles away for shops and restaurants. Babbacombe is close, that's where the Model Village and Bygones are. If you've got a car, Dartmoor is under an hour's drive. Exeter is about half an hour.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
