Honeysuckle Bungalow
Honeysuckle Bungalow is in Maidencombe, which is on the coast road just outside Torquay. It's a proper bungalow, so it's all on one level. That's unusual for round here.
It's part of a small complex in the owner's grounds. You get the garden to yourselves. It's enclosed, which is handy.
It sleeps four but there's only one bedroom, a double. The sofa bed is in the living room for the extra two people. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean.
The beach is about six hundred yards down the hill. It's a sheltered little cove. There's a beach cafe and a thatch-roof pub up in the village. Both are good.
The main thing here is the coast path. You can step right onto it. The walk from here into Babbacombe or Torquay is fantastic. For days out, Babbacombe has the model village and the theatre. Torquay is four miles away for shops and the harbour.
Further afield, you've got Paignton Zoo and the Living Coasts aquarium. Dartmoor is about a forty minute drive inland if you fancy a change from the sea.
What's here: WiFi, TV, parking outside. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. There's a washing machine. No pets, I'm afraid.
