Honeysuckle Bungalow is a bungalow on the coastal road in Maidencombe, which is a small village just outside Torquay. It sleeps four, with one bedroom and one bathroom. It's rented as a 3 Star place, so it's clean and has what you need without any fuss.
It's on the grounds of the house where I live, but it's separate and you get your own garden. The garden is enclosed.
It's very close to Maidencombe Beach, about a six or seven minute walk downhill. It's a sheltered little beach. There's a café there. The coastal path runs right past it. The village pub is about the same distance away, a short walk. It serves food.
Torquay town centre is about a ten minute drive away. You've got all the shops and restaurants there, and the main beaches like Torre Abbey Sands. There's a lot to do. The Living Coasts aquarium is good if you like that sort of thing. The theatre has shows on. You can get a ferry to Brixham from there.
Locally, Bygones Victorian Street and the Babbacombe Model Village are about a five minute drive. Paignton Zoo is about twenty minutes by car. Dartmoor is about a forty minute drive if you fancy a day out on the moor.
Facilities-wise, there's parking right outside. WiFi and a TV are included. There's a washing machine. I can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. Sorry, no pets.
