The Sail Loft
The Sail Loft is on Ivy Lane in Teignmouth. It's right opposite the old coastguard station, about a two-minute walk from the seafront and the town centre.
It sleeps ten. Four bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy with that many people. There's a fifth shower room downstairs as well. One bedroom has two double beds in it, the others are kingsize or double.
It's a first and second floor flat. You need to go up 13 external steps to get to the front door. The place was freshly decorated last year. It feels light and there's plenty of space.
Downstairs is the living room, kitchen with a big dining table, and a small snug area. Upstairs are all the bedrooms. It's well set up for a family or a group. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You can bring two dogs. The Back Beach, which is part of the estuary, is just down the lane. You see the boats there.
Teignmouth's a proper seaside town. Good fish and chips, some nice restaurants. You can get the little ferry over to Shaldon. The mainline train station is here too, so you can get to Exeter easily without the car.
Dartmoor is about a 30-minute drive. Good for walking. The South West Coast Path runs through here as well. For local walks and ideas, the Dartmoor National Park site is useful, and so is the South West Coast Path site.
Facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bedding and towels included.
