This is Brunel Boutique Railway Carriage 5. It's what it says: a 1930s railway carriage that's been converted into a holiday place. It's in Dawlish Warren, sat right behind the sea wall, so you get the sea views and you can hear the trains go by.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms: one double and two twins. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's detached, so it's just you in there.
Inside, it's been done up modern. It's open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There are two TVs. The windows at one end look straight out over the sea. It's a novelty, but it works as a proper house.
You're about a two minute walk from the beach at Dawlish Warren. It's sandy and good for families. There's a shop, a few pubs that do food, and a golf course right there. The train station is a five minute walk. You can get the train to Exeter in about 20 minutes, or to Torquay and Paignton the other way.
If you drive, Exeter is about 20 minutes. Torquay and Paignton are about half an hour. Paignton Zoo is good for a day out. The South West Coast Path runs along the sea wall here if you want a walk.
Facilities: parking for one car right by the carriage. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. No pets.
