The Old Toll House
The Old Toll House is in Shaldon. You can walk to most things from here. It's a modern place, but it's been done to feel like a cottage.
It sleeps eight, which is mainly because two of the beds are doubles that get used as bunk beds. So it's three bedrooms but with space for a lot of people if you don't mind sharing. Some of you will be on the top floor. There's one main bathroom, plus a separate toilet on the floor below.
It's on three floors. The kitchen and dining area are on the ground floor. The living room is on the middle floor. It's a good setup if you've got people who want to watch something different on the TV. The stairs are standard, not too steep.
The main thing here is the parking. You get a space right outside. That's unusual for Shaldon. The lanes are very narrow, so if you've got a big car, take it slow.
The back courtyard is enclosed. It's sunny in the afternoon. Not massive, but enough for a table and chairs.
Shaldon beach is about five minutes walk. The village itself has a few pubs and places to eat. Teignmouth is just over the bridge if you need a bigger supermarket.
From here, you can get to a lot of places. Torquay is about twenty minutes' drive. Dartmouth and Salcombe are a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes to an hour depending on traffic. For walks, the South West Coast Path is right there. The National Trust has a few spots nearby like Coleton Fishacre or Overbecks.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
